The application works by scanning the barcode on the item. It has been tested on Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo DS games, aswell as DVDs, CDs, and Blu-Rays showing high functionality. It should function correctly with any item with a barcode - if no results appear, the item either isn't sold at Cex, or has been filed differently than expected.

This application also allows you to search the barcode with the Google search engine, and search eBay for the item.

There is also an In App Scanner, which allows the user to find Cex information without leaving the app.
